PR5C – MEL ISLAND

The CMDXGroup will operate from 26 to 30 October 2013 on the Mel Island (Honey Island), IOTA SA-047, during the CQWW SSB Contest using PR5C callsign.

We will activate 160-6 meter using vertical Battle Creek antenna (a few meters from the sea) to 160, 80 and 40 meters, and directional TH-3 with rotor for 20, 15 and 10 meters.

50 MHz will use an LFA 5 elements antenna.

Will operate a few days out of the contest on SSB, CW and digital modes.

The manager is PU5SVE. All contacts will be confirmed via e-QSL, direct and LoTW. We will also upload to the Club Log

The team will be composed by PY5XH, PY5VC, PY5EW, PU5UAI, PY5ZW, PU5SVE, PY5JAP, PP5ALE and PY5FAB.
