ZZ8A Amazon River DXpedition

Entitled “Amazon River Expedition” this operation in November is a mixed ride with a wife and radio amateur.

I like to operate a portable computer and I saw on this route of transport between Manaus and Belem, one edge of the ship Amazon Star, an opportunity for a good and another radio amateur activation.

I, Marcelo-PY1MT and my crystal, Regina-PU1JYB will arrive in Manaus-AM on Saturday night and on Wednesday 8 the departure forecast at 12h, we will start the transmissions in the afternoon.

I will operate with a Yaesu FT-897 and a multiband vertical antenna in CW, PH and DIG modes. I hope to make contact with you on these dates! Until then!
