YJØX – VANUATU Posted on 16/09/201429/09/2017 By 50mhz The Quake Contesters Group will be in Vanuatu from Friday 3rd to Tuesday 14th of October. We will operate in both the SSB (0800z 4th to 0800z 5th) & CW (0800z 11th to 0800z 12th) legs of the Oceania contest as a Multi-2. We hope to have at least one station on the air on Friday 3rd as soon as possible after we arrive at lunchtime. Operators are Paul ZL4PW, Geoff ZL3GA, Gordon G3USR & Phil ZL3PAH. Foldingantennas.com hexbeam and VDAs for 10/12/15/17/20m and verticals for 30/40/80m near the sea. 6m Delta Loop (beacon) and a 6 el yagi for openings. We are likely to try 160m later in the week however this will depend on noise levels and demand on the higher bands. QSL: ClubLog online log (near real-time) and OQRS will be available. Logs will be uploaded to LoTW within 3 months. Phil ZL3PAH is our QSL manager. It is our intention to post QSOs in real time to ClubLog – this will depend on the local internet connection.
