YJØX – VANUATU Posted on 16/09/201429/09/2017 The Quake Contesters Group will be in Vanuatu from Friday 3rd to Tuesday 14th of October. We will operate in both the SSB (0800z 4th to 0800z 5th) & CW (0800z 11th to 0800z 12th) legs of the Oceania contest as a Multi-2. We hope to have at least one station on the air on Friday 3rd as soon as possible after we arrive at lunchtime. Operators are Paul ZL4PW, Geoff ZL3GA, Gordon G3USR & Phil ZL3PAH. Foldingantennas.com hexbeam and VDAs for 10/12/15/17/20m and verticals for 30/40/80m near the sea. 6m Delta Loop (beacon) and a 6 el yagi for openings. We are likely to try 160m later in the week however this will depend on noise levels and demand on the higher bands. QSL: ClubLog online log (near real-time) and OQRS will be available. Logs will be uploaded to LoTW within 3 months. Phil ZL3PAH is our QSL manager. It is our intention to post QSOs in real time to ClubLog – this will depend on the local internet connection.
